Bike bell types

  • Classic dome bells — lever striker, steel or aluminum dome, the default new-bike fitment.
  • Mini bells — compact, low-profile bells for road and urban bikes.
  • Ding-dong bells — rotary twin-tone mechanism with a longer ring; often brass for a warmer tone.
  • Integrated bells — bells combined with a light mount, a computer mount or a holder for a small tracker tag.
  • E-scooter bells — clamps sized for scooter stems and handlebars, often specified by fleet operators.

Materials, sound and fit

Domes are steel (bright, loud), aluminum (light, anodizable) or brass (warm tone, premium look). Bases and clamps are aluminum, steel or reinforced nylon, with rubber shims or a strap to fit different bar diameters. Sound character depends on dome material, size and striker; it is chosen on samples — we publish no dB figures. Some countries and many fleet operators require an audible bell on every bike or scooter; your local rule decides.

Branding and packaging

Anodized or painted colors, laser-engraved or printed logos on the dome, custom-shaped domes on larger runs, and blister, card or bulk packaging for factory fitment. Bells are a natural bundle with light sets and phone mounts.

No certifications, ratings or test data claimed. We describe what each product is made of, how it works and how it can be customized. We do not display certification marks or security ratings, publish test data, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for the buyer’s market, as the brand owner requires. Bike helmets and lithium e-bike batteries are regulated products: the applicable standard (for example CPSC 16 CFR 1203 / EN 1078 for helmets; UN 38.3 transport testing and UL 2271 / UL 2849 / EN 50604-1 for batteries) is confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited lab before production. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

Which bell is loudest?

Steel domes generally ring brighter and brass domes warmer; we recommend choosing on samples. No sound-level figures are published here.

Do your bells fit e-scooters?

Yes — scooter versions with clamps for scooter stems and handlebars are available, popular with fleet operators.

Can you engrave our logo on the dome?

Yes, laser engraving or printing; custom dome shapes on larger runs.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the platform (an existing design vs. a new mold), color, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, documentation and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.

Are your products certified or tested?

We do not display certification marks, security ratings or test data on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for your market, as your brand requires: tell us the destination market, sales channel and the standard or document your retailer or marketplace asks for, and the quotation confirms which documentation applies to each SKU and how it is obtained (existing reports for a platform, or testing arranged with a third-party laboratory). See the export compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
